What an amazing story about the goodest of boys – Beauford is a truly special dog that will stay in your heart. Because of Beauford, an Anatolian Pyrenees, an Arizona 2-year-old boy is safely back with his family after spending hours in the wilderness alone.
Gabriella Bachara from news channel KPNX reported on the story, at Beauford’s home at the Dutton Ranch in Arizona. Beauford’s normal task is to protect the ranch, walking the perimeter nightly to keep wildlife out. On Tuesday, April 15, there was someone else Beauford protected. Anatolian Pyrenees dogs are known for being big, loyal teddy bears, and Beauford clearly lives up to his breed’s characteristics. They are often described as gentle giants that can be very protective of their family and property. Beauford instinctively knew that the toddler needed help, and he was there to rescue the boy.
